Nov 4 – Election Day Brings out the Best – Projected Lineup II (Ala Jamie)

baseball6(New York, NY) – Jamie has kicked it off or joined in.  This is his reply and the other one is in the comments section.  We are working on getting him and Emmett to post directly or at least comment to the site.
It is a busy day on the net as America votes and the Yanks weigh their options.  Which is more important is a matter of debate!
From Jamie:
Its election day, but the interesting news of the day I find is the major intentions Cashman and the front office is admitting to for the off season. It certainly going to be exciting.
According to the links… Manny is a possible acquisition, so is Peavy, Lowe, CC, AJ Burnett. and yes – it appear Cashman may make a bold move to ensure his assassination, of keeping Pavano and perhaps moving him into the bullpen.  The very fact that we haven’t seen headlines stoning Pavano yet is troubling. I think we’re def going to see Sabathia, and perhaps major moves to get the best possible player on the market – would love to do whatever it takes to get Peavy and Texeria!
Here is my projected line up:
OF – Damon
SS – Jeter
DH – Matsui, Betermit
3B – ARod
OF – Nady
1B – Texeria, Betermit
OF – Matsui, Gardner
2B – Robinson Cano
Catcher – Jorge Posada, Molina
1st scenario SP – Wang, Hughes, Pettitte, Mussina (If doesn’t retire), CC Sabathia,
2nd – Sabathia, Peavy, Wang, Pettitte, Mussina (Hughes is traded plus prospects)
3rd – Wang, Hughes, AJ Burnett, Sabathia, Pettitte
4th – Wang, Hughes, Sabathia, Lowe, Pettitte
Bullpen -Joba, Kennedy, Rivera, Gise, Rasner
