After Casey Kotchman went deep off of Wang in the first he settled down and pitched solid 3 innings.  Brett Tomko took the loss for the Yanks who were only able to scratch out 6 hits on the day.  Phil Coke gave up his first run of the pre-season as well.   Given the depleted ranks due to the WBC, the results were overall positive.

The Yanks look to resume action today vs. Detroit.
