Jul 13 – Mid Season Grades: Rating Girardi

(New York, NY) – So what do you think of Joe G so far in 2009?  He clearly has improved his relationships with the players from last year but there remains some games when you have to shake your head.  He doesn’t bunt when he should or steal when he should but he does a good job of moving players around, giving rest and getting the most out of the bench.    But this team has the highest payroll and current or former All-Stars at most positions and is suppose to be winning.  So how do you see it for Joe?  Give him a score using 10 as the highest and 1 as the lowest.  (Of course he is neither of those extremes so we won’t even include those numbers).
