The Yankees opponent in the A.L.D.S. is the Minnesota Twins who won 6-5 over the Detroit Tigers!!! The Tigers choke!!! The Yankees got C.C. Sabathia for game 1 tomorrow night starting at 6:07 p.m. on TBS!!!!
The Yankees will use a four man rotation in the A.L.C.S. with Joba or Gaudin as the fourth starter if the Yankees make it to the A.L.C.S.!!! And anyway it doesn’t matter who the Yankees face if the Yankees focus and execute with their pitching and their offense!!!
I prefer the Tigers now since they will have had to exhaust their pitching to get here- and that was only reason I really feared them going into this series.
As for series- I say take the longer one only because it makes sense to keep your guys on normal rest.
Almost as important question….do we really throw Joba into bull pen- while it makes good short term sense if he can be effective- if we advance to ALCS and World Series are we going on a three man rotation/using Mitre or Gaudin?!?! Just wondering what you guys were thinking….

I would prefer the longer series because I trust Phil Hughes as the setup man for longer use and Mariano Rivera to use two innings the maximum along with Hughes!!!!
