Dec 23 – Left Out: Who Opens Up in Left Field?

Cashman Says the Position is Evolving, Cast your Opinion

(New York, NY) – With Melky’s departure, several high priced free agents out there (Damon, Holiday, Bay), a clear limit on the budget and the Yanks already over $200M, the left field situation remains murky.  Cast your vote or comment on what the Yanks will or should do.

  1. This is a great sports blog you have here man. It’s a very good read. I have a sports blog myself but I specifically cover the New York Giants. I’ve been a fan all my life and it’s great writing about them. I would like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around. It can’t hurt us, it’s a win/win on both sides.

Please let me know if this is possible. Take care and keep up the good work.

  2. i think mark derosa would come relatively cheap…i also think that his RH bat would help to balance out the lineup which has gotten a little too left handed by acquiring granderson and johnson…i also like the fact that derosa can basically play anywhere except pitcher and catcher in case we have an injury…i think gardner is best used as a 4th outfielder/pinch runner type player…plus he is a bergen catholic alumni and we love those guys…go get mark

  4. My preference would be Damon, but I can certainly deal with trying out Gardner/Hoffman in left.
